Wacotron On Working With G Herbo, Marshmello, “Smokin Texas” Album

Big Texas was in the building today! After releasing his “Smokin Texas” project last month we had the pleasure of sitting down with Waco to speak about the album, working with Marshmello, G Hero + more!

One of the best parts about the Smokin Texas project was that Wacotron was able to secure EDM artist Marshmello to be on the project. According to Wacotron, Marshmello has been working more in the Hip Hop space, and then when he played G Herbo the beat for "Umbrella" it was a match made in heaven.

“Marshmello came to the studio and gave me the beat, and I think Herb was already on the way to the studio and my boy played the record for Herb and there it was.”

The rapper who is already teasing a sequel to “Smokin Texas” explained to us the origin of the name of the project. Being known as “Big Texas” or “Smokin Texas” is his native city of Waco Texas he expressed that it was the perfect time to drop the project on 4/20 this year.

“that’s my slogan everyone know me as smoking texas, big texas that’s me, I gotta give it to the world now, It was the perfect day to drop the project on 4/20 it couldn’t be better”
