After dropping his joint project with legendary producer Zaytoven we had the pleasure of sitting down with Orlando Florida rapper Moe to talk about the project, his upcoming album the success of “Outta There” on Tik Tok + more!
When it came to the creation of the 8 songs joint project between Moe and Zaytoven the rapper explained to us that originally the project was set to be just a few records that were going to appear on his upcoming album. However, as the two worked together he kept on being inspired by the beats being picked and eventually Zaytoven proposed a joint project between the two.
“It was supposed to be one song so I went in the studio with him and my homie Dave who introduced us, it was supposed to be one or two songs to get him on my album, the beats he kept loading up were inspiring me, I did like 15 songs in 3 days, so he was like we need to do a project and I was like let’s do it”
During the quarantine, Tik Tok became an essential part of breaking new records and artists. Moe himself who had no idea what the app was at the time was one of the artists who were able to benefit from the social media app as his record “Outta There” became one of the early records during the pandemic to catch on.
“I didn’t plan that I had no idea, someone dm'd me one day and they were like you know your song got 300 songs on your video on Tik Tok, I didn’t even know what Tik Tok was. I would watch the number of videos go up by the day. As im continuously watching it's going up by the day going crazy before I knew it there were millions of videos to it”
