Today on On The Radar we sat down with Nyemiah Supreme and Kyah baby after the two artists teamed up for their collab record"Got A Lot". While on the show the two spoke about their upcoming solo and joint projects, what they learned about themselves during quarantine, advice for young NYC rappers coming up in the game + more!
“We did the record actually a while back and I was going through the record I wanted to put out, Kyah came in and laid down the verse in 5 minutes. And we had just let the record simmer, but when it came to shooting the video we thought of Salt & Peppa, the 8-Ball Jackets the one-pieces, the Adidas, just making it a fun moment where we can be silly and just do something entertaining for everybody.
As for what's next for the two MCs both are currently gearing up to release their solo projects before possibly coming back together for a joint outing in the near future!
Kyah Baby: “My next project is “PS It’s Not About” you and its going to wrap up the story I been telling over the past couple of projects. I was going to title it “PS” but my brother who passed he always had this saying “Its not about you” and it applied to so much in life, and the more I started just reefing and applying it to everyday life sometimes you gotta remind a person its not about them”
Nyemiah Supreme: “I got a few projects coming I got a mixtape coming over some old vintage beats, some Noreaga, Big Pun, it's like a video mixtape series project and then I got something off of what I did with Kyah called “The Ladies Room”, so I create music with fire rappers and we make magic and we also cooking together”
