Icewear Vezzo is one of the hottest rappers out of Detroit right now and is currently gearing up to dropped the first of three projects this year with “Rich Off Pints”. The lead single of the projects “Up The Sco” features none other than Lil Durk and has already amassed over a MILLION views on youtube over the weekend.
Stopping by On The Radar Icewear Vezzo spoke about the upcoming projects and single as well as some of the charity work hes been doing for Detroit, giving free verses to upcoming rappers and a BUNCH of music with Future that is gearing up to drop.
With “Rich Off Pints” on the near horizon Icewear Vezzo spoke with us specifically about the work he's been doing with Future. Sharing they already got 4 records and a video shot Icewear said don’t rule out the possibility of the two doing a tape together.
“We trying to get it done, me and Pluto got like 4 songs and a video shot like so we just trying to figure out how we’re going to play it with the songs, maybe we might do a tape I don’t know, its just however it plays out, but ya me and Pluto definitely got some bangers dropping real soon.”
Being from Detroit Icewear knows what it's like coming up in the city. Something that he said he does is link up with a lot of the young guys who are coming up, and the best part is, he’ll give them a verse and a video for FREE. Explaining to us that you never know who will blow up at the same time, Icewear made it a point that being an artist isn’t easy and it means the world to the younger guys when rappers from their cities come back and work with them on this level.
“I reach out to everybody coming out of my city, just like I did with Timo out of Chicago when I seen he was turent and doing his thing I gave him a verse, I do that in my own city, all the upcoming rappers get verses from Vezzo and its free and videos. Because you got to understand the same dudes you're looking at on the ground later in just even a month that same dude will be the one pulling you in and is hot now. You got to say in tune with the younger dudes they be more in tune with our sounds than us sometime.
