Today on On The Radar we got to speak with TheHxliday who is fresh off of dropping his new project under Mowtown titled “Bxtboy”. Stopping by the chop it up with us Hxliday talks everything from the new project, to his long-awaited collab with Juicewrld dropping and we even got a surprise cameo from none other than Mario Judah during the interview!
Hxliday’s new project “Bxtboy” shows off the rapper's growth, which he expresses, that was from a lot of heartbreak and growing up mentally.
“A lot of heartbreak, lot of that and a lot of learning, mental learning and growing up. I talk a lot about the stuff that’s on my mind from day 1 I been doing that like I don’t know it's been a constant process of development and experience and finding new ways to talk about it so like other people can relate”.
Last year a remix to Juice Wrld’s “Good Days” leaked online which featured TheHxliday, while extremely well received by fans it never got an official release. However, that may all change as he exclusively told us that the record has a good chance of coming out.
“You said for me and Juice…….. Yea. Ima give you the answer it’s very possible, I never told my fans or anything like that but it’s very possible. They would love that”
As for what the 19-year-old rapper has in store for this year he teased with us that he will be dropping a tape and his debut album which unlike his “Batbxy” EP will have features including the likes of Trippie Redd, Polo G, and of course Mario Judah.
“My debut album, and finally people they want me to collab with. Like Trippie Redd and Ian Dior. I’m going to be linking up with Trippie Redd this week. I got a record with Polo G coming to but that’s all I’m going to say, it’s going to be on the next tape”
