It's been almost two years since Atlanta rapper Lotto Savage dropped his “Georgia Lottery” tape. Since then the rapper has had a slew of impressive singles including his 2020 “Out The Van” Release featuring Lil Keed! Stopping by On The Radar we spoke with the rapper about his upcoming tape, how Atlanta rappers always support each other, his time with Slaughter gang + more!
When 21 Savage and Lotto Savage first appeared on the scene back in 2016 they were in a collective known as “Slaughter Gang”. Sharing a bit of the history of the collective he expressed that’s his family:
“Through mutual friends, we all linked up. 21 that’s my brother we always been family. Ima forever be Slaughter gang that’s always been my crew I been dealing with”
His latest single features none other than rising Atlanta star Lil Keed. Sharing that he was one of the people who encouraged Keed to rap in the first place everything turned into full circle moments that saw everyone coming up in the rap game.
“Keed that’s my little brother, I knew Keed before he was rapping how he is now. When I met Keed he wasn’t rapping he was trying to turn me on to LilGotIt. So I started messing around with Keed and Gotit and I locked them in they my brothers”
As for what’s in store for 2021, Savage is planning on continuing to drop more singles before inevitably dropping his new project which is sure to make waves in Atlanta and around the country!
“I’m gearing up my album, I’m supposed to be dropping a whole lot of singles and then drop the project. I have been working on the singles like “Out The Van” & “Murda She Wrote”. Top of this year I’m in the process of finally coming out with that album.”
