Pau Gasol and his wife Catherine McDonnell just welcomed their beautiful newborn baby girl! We all know how close Pau and Kobe were during their time together on the Lakers, with Pau having been seen out multiple times with the Bryants since the passing of Kobe he has done one more thing to honor those lost in the helicopter crash back in January.
Taking to his Instagram he announced the name of his new daughter and as a tribute to the late Gianna Bryant his daughters middle name will also be Gianna!
"Our little one has finally arrived!! The delivery went really well and we couldn’t be happier!! Elisabet Gianna Gasol 😍, a very meaningful name for our super beautiful daughter!! ❤️👨👩👧 #girldad"
