Casey Veggies Shares The Long Journey Behind Creating "Fresh Veggies 2"

We previously got to sit down and chop it up with Rockie Fresh a few weeks ago after the announcement of the sequel to the collab project "Fresh Veggies" with Casey Veggies. With the project set to drop tomorrow (July 10th) we had the pleasure of sitting down with Casey Veggies as well to talk about the 7-year journey that culminates with the release of "Fresh Veggies 2".

The project which features Wale, Dame Don, SK8, Backwood Jones, 24HRS, Reocragun, Iamsu, Curren$y, and Hit-Boy was originally teased by Casey to have been completed at the beginning of this year. Sharing some insight on what went into the second go around for the Fresh Veggies duo he revealed that the album has actually been in the works for years as him and Rockie really never stopped making music after the first one and the tracks on this album really showcase the different points in time since the first project that they were recorded.

"It's been a journey we really just kinda took our time with it, we really been working on this since the first project came out and I feel like that's the special thing about Fresh Veggies 2, not like we been literally working on it for 6 years but its been in the thought process" he goes on "we were supposed to drop it last year and then the year before that but that's what I feel is special about it because it kept growing and there are probably 15 songs that didn't make the project cuz we were working on so much material to really finalize the project"

However, Casey isn't done dropping new music after "Fresh Veggies 2" drops! The rapper has already turned in 2 other albums during quarantine and shares that he really wants to start dropping every couple of months because his fans deserve it.

Make sure you check out that "Fresh Veggies 2" when it drops tomorrow!
