Angie Martinez Nominated For National Radio Hall of Fame Induction

Recognized as one of the most influential personalities in popular culture and multimedia, iHeartMedia New York’s Power 105.1 on-air personality Angie Martinez has been nominated for induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame in the Longstanding Active Local/Regional category. Angie's category will be voting on by Industry Voters.

Angie’s twenty years of on-air hosting experience has led her to become the media trailblazer she is today: radio and TV host,New York Times best-selling author, spokeswoman, actress, recording artist, entertainment personality and philanthropist. Angie Martinez has been the Voice of New York for over 20 years and she is a trusted member of the hip hop community and is a trailblazer who has paved the way for women, people of color and media personalities everywhere.

Due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns, the 2020 induction ceremony will be held as a live radio broadcast from multiple locations this OCTOBER. The date and additional details will be announced along with the final inductees later this Summe.
