The death of Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s children, has been ruled the result of an accidental drug overdose, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
According to the medical examiner-coroner, Harris, who was found unresponsive in her car in front of her California home on March 10, had Fentanyl and Alparzoam (Xanax) in her system, resulting in “Mixed drug toxicity.”
Mayweather, 43, called Harris a drug abuser in a 2015 interview with Katie Couric, prompting his ex to file a $20 million lawsuit, which was scheduled to go to court later this year.
Harris who was 40 at the time of her death, began dating Mayweather in 1995 and had a tumultuous relationship with the undefeated boxer for years to follow.
