Boxer Floyd Mayweather's Ex Died From Drug Overdose

The death of Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd Mayweather Jr.โ€™s children, has been ruled the result of an accidental drug overdose, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

According to the medical examiner-coroner, Harris, who was found unresponsive in her car in front of her California home on March 10, had Fentanyl and Alparzoam (Xanax) in her system, resulting in โ€œMixed drug toxicity.โ€

Mayweather, 43, called Harris a drug abuser in a 2015 interview with Katie Couric, prompting his ex to file a $20 million lawsuit, which was scheduled to go to court later this year.

Harris who was 40 at the time of her death, began dating Mayweather in 1995 and had a tumultuous relationship with the undefeated boxer for years to follow.
