"McDonalds Cop" Doesn’t Want People’s Sympathy

A Georgia sheriff's deputy who filmed a tearful plea about her experience at McDonald's says that while she doesn't want people's sympathy, she does partly regrets posting it after she and her family received threats.

Last week, she went to a McDonald's drive-thru to order food following her shift. In the video, Talbert complained that her breakfast order—a coffee, Egg McMuffin and hash browns— took longer than usual and expressed concern that someone may have been tampering with her food, despite any evidence to suggest as much.

After recording herself, she shared the video on social media and it immediately went viral with folks pointing out that there's always a wait at McDonald's drive-throughs and they've also been asked before to park and wait on the side for their food.
