Ways To Celebrate Juneteenth In NYC

Juneteenth has been celebrated by Black Americans since the late 1800s, but this year, the holiday has garnered renewed attention as Black Lives Matter demonstrators call for meaningful policy changes following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers.

So we've gathered up this year's best Juneteenth events in NYC to commemorate and celebrate the ending of slavery in the U.S. with some jubilant events. You can enjoy a family day, join a march, take a bike ride or watch a digital dance honoring Juneteenth.
