Chloe x Halle Share Experiences With Racism, Beyoncé Cosigning Their Album

After pushing their album a week back to respect the countless protests and movements going on around the world in light of George Floyd’s death, Chloe and Halle’s new album “Ungodly Hour” is here! The album serves as their sophomore album under Beyonce’s “Parkwood Entertainment” features the likes of Mike Will Made in and Swae Lee.

Speaking with Angie today the duo touched upon everything from Beyonce cosigning the album, Halle’s work on Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” live action movie and the murder of George Floyd.

While the two have been putting music out for some time now, “Ungodly Hour” serves as their first real chance to speak about more mature life experiences that they’ve been through.

“We’re really just writing about our life and reflecting the times that’s going on, we been through love and heartbreak experiences and dealing with insecurities.” – Halle

With everything going on right now with the cases of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd the duo, expressing that everything going on is very sad right now but the change that is starting to unravel in our country brings them hope.
