Jay-Z Speaks With MN Governor - George Floyd Case Sent To Attorney General

Jay-Z has revealed part of his recent conversation with Minneapolis Governor Tim Walz in which it was agreed that the George Floyd case will be taken over by the Attorney General. This revelation comes after much demand from the public that Jay speak out against Mr. Floyd's murder.

In the message which was released via RocNation Jay calls on Attorney General Ellison to "do the right thing and prosecute those responsible for the murder" of Mr. Floyd. The Hip-Hop mogul and social justice advocate also stated that he is "more determined to fight for justice than any fight my would-be oppressor may have."

To close out his message Jay asked folks to have the courage to "look at us as humans, dads, brothers, sisters and mothers in pain and look at yourself."

Beyonce also issued a video message on Instagram over the weekend:

"If you want to demand more charges brought on all those involved in the death of George Floyd, click the link in my bio to sign the petition."
