On Thursday morning Lana Del Rey felt like writing an essay about not being allowed to put out her music without criticism.
While all that is fine and well, she opened up her essay by mentioning artists such as Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Kehlani , Ariana Grande and Camila Cabello who Lana says have gone all the way to number #1 with songs about "being sexy, wearing no clothes, f*cking, cheating, etc."
She then proceeded to beg the public to allow her to "please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love or whatever I want without being crucified or saying that I'm glamorizing abuse?"
Soon as the post said published on Lana's side the hashtag the #LanaDelReyIsOverParty opened it's doors on Twitter with "Fandoms" such as the Beyhive, Barbz, Arianators all joining forces to destroy Lana and her comments about their QUEENS.
Do you think she could have made her point without including other female artists? Check out Lana's full post below.
