Hip Hop Summit Youth Council COVID Awareness

In an effort to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, the Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council has launched the Hip-Hop Coronavirus Awareness Project (H-CAP).

The purpose of this initiative is to work with elected officials, the private sector, government, and not-for-profit agencies to educate and update citizens about the “Symptoms & Dangers” of the virus and how our government is dealing with the crisis.

H-CAP will also discuss “Preventive Solutions” that offer “Holistic Healing” and “Immune System Empowerment” that can:

  • (a) prevent citizens from contracting the virus;
  • (b) cure those who are infected; and
  • (c) reduce the number of cases and deaths in the U.S. It is also important that our children, youth and young adults, understand the safety policies implemented by the Mayor, Governor, and President, which will be enforced by law enforcement agencies.

In addition, through their “Hate The Weight” Challenge, the Fitness Sheriff will encourage students, young adults, gang members and all Americans to focus on how eating healthy and exercising can contribute to building a strong immune system. An educated citizen is the best way to defeat the Coronavirus, so let’s work together to protect seniors, as well as enlighten students and young adults about what they can do to fight and beat this deadly virus.
