The world lost one of its music legends this morning. Richard was born in 1932 and has a LONG career since breaking into the music industry back in 1951.
With records such as "Long Tall Sally" (The Thing), "Tutti Frutti". "Good Golly Miss Molly" the artist has had an extremely long and successful career.
Richard had always crossed the line between Rcok N Roll and Gospel music as his roots come from Church music learning Piano at his local house of worship. He also quite the Rock industry back in 1957 where he changed the tone of his records, creating his Gospel album "God is Real" which was released in 1959.
Richard was 87 when he passed away, R.I.P King.
