Father and son Gregory and Travis McMichael have been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery, a black man who was running in his Georgia neighborhood.
Both have been charged with murder and aggravated assault. The McMichaels were taken into custody and will be booked into the Glynn County Jail. Their accomplice, William Bryan, is also being charged but has not yet been arrested.
The arrest happened the day before what would have been Arbery’s 26th birthday.
