Today around noon Thunderbirds and Blue Angels will fly over New York City and Newark in salute to first responders and healthcare workers on the front-lines of the pandemic.
"Operation America Strong" will combines the Air Force Thunderbirds and US Navy's Blue Angels in a coordinated flyover. The planes will fly over New York City and Newark before moving on to Trenton and Philadelphia after that. The display is expected to last approximately 35 minutes.
Residents are asked to avoid traveling to “landmarks, hospitals and gathering in large groups” to watch the show.
