COVID-19 Survivor Mom Meets Her Newborn 3 Weeks After Birth

She’s the mom who’s reunion with her newborn after 25 days touched the hearts of millions.

Iris Nolasco was 7 months pregnant when she was diagnosed with COVID-19. Doctors had to put her in a medically induced coma, and delivered her baby by C-section. She wasn’t able to meet her baby, Isabella, in person until weeks after she was born.

Now, the two are home with Iris’s husband, who has also tested positive for the virus. They’re all doing well and feel lucky to be together.
