93 year old Olive Veronesi from Pittsburgh went viral after a picture of her holding a Coors Light and sign by a window asking for a resupply of her favorite drink, "I Need More Beer". Speaking to a local radio station she said that she was running extremely low after having a beer nightly, “I was on my last 12 cans; I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it:".
Lucky for her Coors Light got wind of her request for more beer and delivered her 150 cans of beer on Monday (April 13th). In a quote from a spokesperson for the company they expressed that the company had to jump at the chance to connect with the woman and make her smile
"When we saw Olive’s message, we knew we had to jump at the chance to not only connect with someone who brought a smile to our faces during this pandemic, but also gave us a special opportunity to say thanks for being a Coors Light fan
