Yesterday (Sunday April 12th) DJ Envy held his all day long "I Love My DJ" fundraiser where he had Dj's spinning all day keeping the vibes going on his Instagram live including some of our Power 105.1 home team DJ's such as DJ Clue, DJ Prostyle, and DJ Will. This all in effort to help those DJs affected by the coronavirus since all the clubs, restaurants and bars are shut down.
Well to say the GoFundMe was a success is an understatement, with the original goal being 50K they absolutely SMASHED that goal coming in with over $100,000 and still growing. Also we gotta give a special shoutout to DJ Khaled for getting the fundraiser started on Friday donating over 45K!
Congrats to Envy and all the DJs who came together for those in need!
