Newborn baby Eli was acting lethargic so his parents Dawn and Sean Clancey took him to the doctor, where the whole family was tested for COVID-19.
At only 12 days old, both baby Eli and his father tested positive for the virus, while mom tested negative. Now, the time that would normally be spent happily bonding has been turned upside down and the Cleveland parents have had to isolate in different rooms for the time being.
The parents say the outlook for their son’s health is positive. “The odds are in his favor,” said his mother Dawn.
