NYC Docs Create Instagram Account To "Air It Out" During COVID-19 Pandemic

Two New York City emergency physicians have created an Instagram page to use as collective journal during the #COVID-19 pandemic.

On this page they are providing insight into what’s happening on the medical front lines in New York and around the USA via photographs and captions provided to them by other health care workers.

In one of the Instagram posts we see a photo of an elderly man holding a thank you sign outside of an emergency room window which reads: "thank you all in emergency for saving my wife's life. I love you all." On another posts we see a handmade sign thanking all the doctors, nurses and health care workers for "keeping us safe" signed NYC.

Other messages aren't as cheerful with one post reading: "everywhere I look someone is being intubated, someone is dying...And I am someone who cannot save their life nor ease their pain" writes a Patient's Services worker who is also an essential worker.

Thanks Dr. Flores and Dr. Jiang for creating this page 🏥🙏🏾❤️
