Idris Elba has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor made the announcement on Twitter just moments ago 🙏🏾 saying that he was exposed to someone who had the Coronavirus and decided to be tested.
He stressed that now is a real good time to be vigilant and keep your distance from other people. He also went on to say that we should be transparent and let folks know of we feel ill or have been exposed.

This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic.
