Portland-born artist Aminé has channeled his inner New York influence with his new record "Shimmy".
The song samples the legendary "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" by WuTang's own Ol' Dirty Bastard. The beat was produced by three monsters; Boi 1da, Vinylz, and Pasqué who works very closely with Aminé. The music video is a VIBE. It's very fun, playful, exciting and complimented by some real East Coast-esque bars from the West Coast artist. The video is co directed by Aminé himself and Jack Berget.
