83 People Are Being Monitored In Nassau County For Coronavirus Concerns

Prevention Measures For The Spread Of Coronavirus In Turin

As of today Wednesday (February 26th) 83 long island residents are undergoing voluntary isolation as they are being tested for possibly having the Coronavirus. According to ABC 7 the 83 residents are being asked to isolate themselves from everyone for at-least 14 days from the time they visited China. Nassau health officials are asking them to report their temperatures and any symptoms they may have.

According to Dr. Lawrence Eisenstein "Should someone need medical care, we'll evaluate it and we have protocols in place to safely get them medical care," the doctor also said since the outbreak of the virus around 175 people have undergone the voluntary isolation.
