New York State Judge Blocks Rule That Removes Brokers Fee

Just when you think things are getting sweet, someone has to go a ruin it. An Albany Judge this passed Monday issued a temporary restraint on the new bill that was passed that would not allow renters to charge broker fees. According to the New York post Justice Michael Mackey made this move after The New York Real Estate board and other big names in that space filed a lawsuit against the Department of State. So now Brokers can go about charging the fee to tenants looking to rent.
