We all know Drake as the Canadian boy who proudly reps the 6 by letting the world know he's not ashamed of his Canadian roots.
However, he recently stepped into the 'hood' and was spotted filming a new music video in the Marcy Projects, a public housing complex in Brooklyn, New York earlier this week. The neighborhood is famously known as the early stomping grounds for one of hip-hop's greatest legends, Jay-Z who once called the place home before making his break into the music industry.
It appears the music video Drake is shooting is from a track he has yet to release. The short clip features Drake leaning against a fence in front of the Marcy houses sign, wearing a blue Yankees bomber jacket as he raps in the camera. The second clip shows fans showing love to the rapper before he drives off in a black SUV.
We hope whatever Drizzy is cooking up is a banger in these streets.
