Jay-Z & Beyoncé Take A Seat For National Anthem At Super Bowl LIV

60th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Show

Looks like despite Jay-Z's strong NFL ties The Carters are still standing their ground and making a strong statement ✊🏾

On Sunday The Carters decided to not stand during the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV. While Demi Lovato sang her heart out, Beyoncé, Hov and Blue Ivy Carter all stayed in their seats. Click here to watch the video.

When the U.S.national anthem was first recognized by law in 1931, there was no prescription as to behavior during its playing. Later in 1942, the law was revised indicating that those in uniform should salute during its playing, while others should simply stand at attention, men removing their hats.

Do you find this disrespectful or it's their right to not stand?
