Patrick Mahomes Throws 5 TDs in Chief's 24 Point Comeback v.s Texans

The Houston Texans were up 24-7 in the first quarter until they lost momentum on a fake punt on a fourth & 3 turnover on downs.

Kansas City Chief's Quarterback Patrick Mahomes brought back his squad from a 24-0 deficit in the second quarter by throwing for 321 yards and 5 touchdowns to three different receivers. The 24 year old blew the crowd away by throwing three touchdowns in 3 minutes and 24 seconds in the second quarter. He ultimately finished the second quarter with 4 touchdown passes and gave his team a 24-28 lead going into the second half. Mahomes also led the Chiefs in rushing with 53 yards on 7 carries and Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving with 10 receptions for 134 yards and 3 touchdown catches. The chiefs broke a franchise record for the most points scored in a post season game behind Coach Andy Reid in a 51-31 victory over the Texans. They will play the Tennessee Titans next Sunday, January 19th to go to Super Bowl LIV.
