Harvey Weinstein Indicted On More Sex-Crimes

Harvey Weinstein Returns To Court On Three New Felony Sex Crimes

Just one day before jury selection is set to start in Harvey Weinstein’s highly anticipated rape and sex abuse trial in New York, Harvey Weinstein has been indicted on sex-crimes charges in Los Angeles. The Post reports that Los Angeles prosecutors are planning a Monday news conference to announce the charges at 2 P.M. New York time.

In New York alone Weinstein faces two counts of predatory sexual assault, two counts of rape and one count of criminal sex act. The allegations involved three women, “Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra, her production assistant Mimi Haleyi and an unidentified woman and he faces life in prison, if convicted.

The disgraced TV Mogul was in court Monday for a final status conference before jury selection begins on Tuesday. His trial is expected to last six weeks.
