Disney + has been trending for a couple days now, but Netflix had their own announcement to make. Yesterday they announced their new deal with Nickelodeon.
This deal with Nickelodeon allows them to create and produce original animated feature films and TV series based on existing and new characters.
A SpongeBob spin-off might be making an appearance due to the new deal. According to the New York Times, the project will be centered around Squidward. Looks like both streaming services are trying to draw millennials to subscribe.
