Colin Kaepernick could possibly be making a return to the NFL very soon.
Kap reportedly will be having private workouts for NFL teams in Atlanta this weekend. It's been a long, and very confusing journey for the Quarterback as many would presume has deserved an NFL contract offer in the past three years. In 2016, Kaepernick opted out of his NFL contract hoping for a better situation yet no offers came despite the fact that many average quarterbacks who never came close to a Super Bowl still had jobs. Many believed Colin was blackballed.
Nevertheless, recently many NFL teams have inquired about Kaepernick's skill set.
Michael Rapoport reported to Twitter saying,
“Several clubs inquired as to Kaepernick’s football readiness and both him and his reps have frequently expressed his desire for him to return to the league. The NFL has arranged this opportunity for him to work out, and for all clubs to have the opportunity to evaluate him.”
Kap has not specified which NFL team he's interested in however this workout will hopefully get his foot back in the door where he belongs.
