Besides the fact that LaFlame suffered an injury while performing "Butterfly Effect" at Rolling Loud in NYC, this week was absolutely historical for the International Artist.
Travis Scott’s newest single "Highest In The Room" has officially debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. The artist dropped the single last week and it doesn't look like it's going to fall out of the top 5 for a while. The monster hit was produced by Scott himself along with producers Mike Dean, Nik D, and Oz. It's also the first song from the rapper to open up at the top of the chart and is Number 1 on the Streaming Songs chart with 59 million streams and counting. Not to mention it's Number 2 on Billboard's Digital Sales Chart with 51,000.
Travis' new release moved Lizzo's “Truth Hurts” down to number 2 on the Billboard charts, and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's "Senorita" to number 3. Along with his music going crazy, the artist also released his Jordan 6 this week October 11th which are now sold out. The rapper's promotional campaign consisted of Randy Moss rocking the ashy green Jordan 6's while fishing for them in a nearby lake. Sounds interesting right? Because it is.
