YouTube music app has recently launched in 14 new markets including India, UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia. YouTube has announced September 26th that its music app will now be preinstalled on all new mobile devices launching with Android 9 and 10 (including the Pixel Series). Competitors such as Spotify, Pandora, and GooglePlay are going to have to now share the market with YouTube Music. Since YouTube is giving consumers the option of either using the service for free with ads or by paying $10/month for the ad-less Premium version, they're going to make the "Free music service" market even more competitive than it already is. Subscribed members to YouTube Music will be allowed to request specific albums, songs, and artists on-demand along with having access to unlimited skips.
