Ming The Tiger Rescued From Harlem Apartment Back In 2003 Has Passed Away

It's a sad day in the streets today as we have just learned that Ming The Tiger has passed away. If you don't know who Ming is he was the tiger who was famously rescued from a Harlem apartment on Clayton Powell Blvd back in 2003. After being rescued from the city he spent his life at the Noah’s Lost Ark Animal Sanctuary in Ohio. The craziest part about this story is that he passed away back in February at the age of 19 due to kidney and heart failure. He was then cremated on April 20th.

According to the sanctuaries owner: “I wanted to keep him very private because Ming was private he had this big spectacle of when he was rescued and brought here. He deserved some peace.”

RIP to a NYC and Harlem legend.
