After releasing his debut project Saint JHN stopped by The Angie Martinez show to talk about working with Beyonce on The Lion King album, NYFW, and making music with Lenny Kravitz at 5am in France.
With NYFW taking over the city the past week as someone who is into fashion Saint JHN had a lot to say about everything going on. Explaining that even though he has been going to some shows during Fashion Week he isn't a fan of all the madness.
The Brooklyn artists also was recently featured on Beyonce's "Lion King" album "The Gift", specifically on the song "Brown Skin Girl". While he wasn't in the studio with Beyonce when she recorded her vocals, but revealed that the song was a concept of his he came up with while in Jamaica and then Beyonce just added to it, even going as far to say that he felt she was a better carrier for the message of the song, "I didn’t feel like I was the person to carry the message”.
