Common is gearing up to drop his new album "Let Love" this Friday (August 30), stopping by The Angie Martinez show today he spoke about some of the concepts behind the new album, as well as his book + confirming his relationship with Angela Rye.
His book "Let Love Have The Last Word: A Memoir" has become a hot topic as the rapper opened up about many parts of his past that he has never spoken about previously such as how he was molested at a young age. Sharing what it has been like since releasing the book, he spoke about how there have been people who have come up to him saying that after reading the book they have decided to seek help, going to therapy.
Recently BET's annual "Black Girls Rock" show went down and while it doesn't air for a few weeks on television there were some pictures of a specific performance of Common and his ex Eyrka Badu that popped up online, leading people to believe that the pair were back together. Clearing up all the rumors Common says that it was simply just a performance and that he is currently in a Happy relationship with non other than long time rumored girlfriend Angela Rye!
