A$AP Rocky Shares His Feelings After Being Released

After weeks of headlines and support from the music community, politicians, and fans, A$AP Rocky returned to the live stage Sunday night as a headliner for the Real Street Festival in Anaheim, California. This was his first time performing since he was arrested and charged with assault in Sweden last month. This Wednesday he is due to hear the verdict of his trial. During Rocky’s set he was joined by friends who included A$AP Ferg, YG, and Tyler, The Creator who came out during, “Who Dat Boy.”

Rocky opened up about his time in Sweden saying: “Y’all know how happy I am to be here right now, I wanna say this though. When I was away what I experienced was crazy.... It was a scary, humbling experience but I’m here right now. God is good. People who ain’t even fuck with me felt sympathy. People was praying for me, that uplifted me when my spirits was low. I can’t thank y’all enough, man, that was crazy. Hip-hop never looked so strong together.”

He closed the show out with “Yamborghini High” joined by Nast, Ferg and other members of their entourage to pay respects to A$AP founder, A$AP Yams. This was a special moment for the A$AP crew and their fans ending in everyone embracing each other. As the fans began to leave Rocky requested to finish the night off with “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2,” reengaging the crowd and the chant “Lord, Pretty, Flacko, Jodye” was shout as Rocky left the stage.

We all hope for the best outcome in his upcoming trial! #FreeFlacko
