Jermaine, a Thirty Five year old West Philadelphia man scaled a 19 story building that was on fire last week. Why you ask? To save his bedridden mother from the flames.
Speaking with news outlets “They said, ‘We can’t let you in I took it upon myself because that’s my mother. There’s no limits. That’s my mother." adding on “All for my mom’s safety, period, I wasn’t worried about mine at all. She can’t get out of the bed or walk around, so if there’s a fire she needs help out.”
By the time he got all the way up his mom was reportedly doing fine and climbed back down where he said a cop said if he didn't leave he would go to jail, although the cop did understand why he did what he did, Jermaine saying, “He understood the circumstances. He knew when your adrenaline is pumping and your mom is up there, you’d do anything you can.”
