With his new album dropping this Friday DJ Mustard pulled up to The Angie Martinez show to talk about the project as well as share some hilarious stories about trying to get Lil Baby & Drake on the new project.
The producer recently has been on a huge weight loss journey, originally being 250 pounds he has been able to drop a ton of weight and now wants to get down to 220, saying “its been a whole journey I feel like now is the time to start documenting it”.
Ella Mai recently took home the "Viewers Choice Award" at the BET Awards. When receiving the award the singer may have taken a little jab at Jacquees, when asking Mustard about her comment he said, “I don’t know, she just letting the music speak, she don’t really go on Instagram speaking or getting involved on that, so she just had to get it off”.
With his new projects featuring just about everybody Mustard broke down to Angie the things he went through trying to put a project together, even citing that he asked DJ Khaled if it gets easier in which he replied "it doesn't". He then goes on to break down how he spent a whole night in Vegas trying to get Lil Baby in the studio and trying to get Drake to hop on one of the songs on his album.
