This five-part docuseries will cover Meek’s fight to freedom after being continuously stalked by a system that was looking for every reason to lock him back up. He uses this platform to bring awareness to the flaws of the U.S. criminal justice system that has continued to fail him and so many others. It will be produced by Jay-Z, who has been alongside Meek throughout his legal journey. Together they have continued to challenge the system with organizations like The Reform Alliance, alongside the CEO Van Jones. Free Meek premieres Friday, August 9 on Amazon Prime Video.
