I know we're in NYC, but she's got all our support!
The mother Trayvon Martin has announced that she is running for office in her home state of Florida. Sybrina Fulton made the announcement via her Instagram page where she stated:
"My time as a public servant began 30 years ago at Miami-Dade County," the post reads. "Since 2012, I have advocated tirelessly to empower our communities and make them safer. But the work is not done. I am proud to announce that I will run to represent District 1 on the county commission."
Mrs. Fulton will forever have our support.
