Newark Airport Ranks As Worst Airport In The U.S.

Early Winter Weather Snarls Traffic At Newark Airport

The list of the worst airports in the United States has dropped and Newark Liberty Airport came out on top (well at the bottom) ranking 116th in a study by AirHelp, a company specializing in air passenger rights. It is the lowest-ranked American airport and is only 16 spots shy of being the worst airport in the world, the study found.

The rankings were decided by three points of criteria: on-time performance, service quality, and food and shops. Each point was decided on a scale from 1 to 10. The study used on-time statistics for to calculate every airport's performance, but an airport's rankings in service and food and shops were calculated using surveys.

Have you ever flown out of Newark? How was your experience?
