Will Smith and Issa Rae have not only displayed black excellence daily, but now they will be awarded for their internet excellence as well!
Since Uncle Will joined the world of social media, he has showed us what it really means to be an internet professional. Because of his contributions to the digital sphere he is now among the 2019 Webby Award winners for "internet excellence". Smith's The Jump won a Webby for the events and live stream video category.
All around boss lady Issa will also be honored during the Webby Awards this year. She will receive the honor of "video person of the year" for using the internet to showcase breakthrough content.
The winners of the Webby nominations were announced by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences today! The list also features heavy hitters in the game including Tierra Whack, NASA, Fortnite and Disney as winners this year as well.
