T.I. along with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Scrapp Deleon as well as the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church of Lithonia, Ga came together to bail 23 nonviolent offenders out of jail.

Yesterday (April 21) 23 nonviolent offenders were released from the Dekalb county Jail in Georgia. Seven women and 16 men who were either locked up for the first time or considered nonviolent offenders were released as part of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church's "Bail Out" program.

"It's almost like finally meeting the good Samaritan - somebody who you know that you didn't see coming", senior Pastor Dr. Jamal Bryant said about the good deed. "They're appreciative to be able to press the refresh button", he added.

That isn't all that done after the men and women are released. The "Bail Out" program also provides them with certified mentors in which they check in weekly with. A portion of the donations in which the program receives will be used to establish college funds for former inmates who have children.

According to Fox 5, the church launched the "Bail Out" project on (Mar 6) for Lent. They aimed to raise $40,000 in order to bail the inmates out for Easter. When word got around that T.I. was going to be involved donations tripled to $120,000.
