The MTV masterminds behind the hit shows like Jersey Shore, The Hills, and The Challenge want to bring us into "the real world" of reality TV.
MTV announced that they will be answering the prayers of reality tv aficionados by creating a first ever Reality-Con. The convention is said to bring together fans, stars, and creators of the biggest reality shows to hit the airways.
Besides MTV's own network shows, the event will also host key players from other reality shows like Love and Hip Hop, Big Brother, The Bachelor, Ru-Paul's Drag Race and many more.
A soft launch of the event will be taking place this coming Fall, but the real festivities will not be happening until the summer of 2020. The event will feature a list of activities including: performances, round table discussions, and interviews. The pressing information including the location and time of the convention will be announced at a later date.
RealityCon is the latest in MTV's live events business, which includes the SnowGlobe Music Festival and MTV Spring Break --which was brought back by MTV this year. '
