JAY-Z is coming to NYC to re-open Webster Hall!
If you don't remember the legendary NYC hot spot is going under a transition of ownership. The venue announced that they would be shutting down to undergo renovations during the transition. This news was broken back in August 2018.
So, Jay-Z decided to reopen the spot just in time for his special “B-Sides 2” show later this month. This performance will be the first time JAY-Z has hit the stage at Webster Hall. The show is going to take place on April 26. The news came via Webster Hall’s IG page. The General sale for tickets begins April 19 at 11 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
"Today's announcement of JAY-Z to open Webster Hall, along with an eclectic line-up of artists throughout its opening month, achieves all of those goals positioning the venue to continue its success for decades to come." Jay Marciano, chairperson and CEO of AEG Presents, said.
In September, the venue's Club Night series is expected to return.
